Research Interests
A deep-rooted appreciation for music and life-long fascination with sound underlie Chris’ motivation to better understand how our brains make sense of the auditory world. His training in neuroscience focused on studying how the auditory system makes and tests predictions about a sound’s location and frequency, both in infancy and adulthood. He now combines his knowledge of neuroscience with psychoacoustics to explore how technology interacts with the auditory brain to help listeners with a hearing loss process sounds in adverse listening conditions.Â
